Oxana Shevchenko was born in Kazakhstan, where she began her musical studies with Valentina Tartyshnaya. She graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow (class of Elena Kuznetsova) and went on to perfect her skills at the Royal College of Music in London and the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne. She also worked with Benedetto Lupo at the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome.

Winner of several prestigious competitions – including a magnificent first prize at the International Premio Liszt Competition (2015) – Oxana has already had the privilege of playing with fine ensembles, under the baton of conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Koji Kawamoto, and Anatoly Levin.
