The Russian Dmitry Sinkovsky is a complete artist, violinist, singer (countertenor), and conductor. Winner of the Musica Antiqua (2008) and Romanus Weichlein (2009) competitions, he has led a hectic career with many Baroque ensembles, such as the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, the Concerto Köln and Il Giardino Armonico. In 2011, on the strength of this rich experience, he formed his own ensemble, La Voce Strumentale, with which he now tours the major European and North American stages. More and more frequently invited by other groups, he also has a successful career as an independent conductor.
