The Ministrings were founded in 2002 at the Lausanne Conservatory, under the leadership of Tina Strinning, professor of violin, viola and didactics. In 2013, she was joined by Baiju Bhatt, an active jazz and contemporary music violinist. The orchestra is made up of young musicians, from 7 years old. Their varied musical repertoire is often enriched with group choreography. The ensemble is sponsored by Gilles Apap, with whom the budding artists had the opportunity to perform in concert. The group tours extensively, in Switzerland and abroad, and made a recording for its 15 years.
