Pianist Yulianna Avdeeva, after initially studying in Moscow before mastering her skills at the International Piano Academy on Lake Como, saw her career take off when she won the Geneva Competition in 2006 followed by the first prize at the Chopin Competition in 2010. Since then, she has worked continuously, taking her rich musical interpretations from Warsaw to the Americas and performing alongside leading ensembles such as Kremerata Baltica and Ensemble des Solistes du Berliner Philharmoniker, and renowned colleagues, such as Julia Fischer and Gidon Kremer.
Chopin retains a privileged place at the heart of Yulianna’s vast repertoire. She regularly works closely with the Chopin Institute in Warsaw and in 2015 recorded the two concertos of the great Polish composer – an album that was enthusiastically acclaimed by critics. More similar records are plan for the future.
